The Quick Fit unit was designed and patented in 1993, by Mr. Alfred Lambert, the company’s managing director. Since then the design of the unit has gone from strength to strength and although in recent years it has been imitated by others, the same standard of excellence has yet to be achieved elsewhere.
Since 1994, Quick Fit Frames & Doors Ltd has been the most recognised manufacturer of internal pre-hung doorsets in Ireland.
The standard Quick Fit Unit includes a door from our wide range available, fitted with a lock of your choice and hanging in a red deal or hardwood frame on three lift off hinges. The unit is delivered complete with saddle (if required) and architrave attached to both sides of the frame, and can be fitted on site by your carpenter in less than 15 minutes.
Most of our doors are sourced from a Spanish company Puertas Norma, with whom we have close ties, and Quick Fit are proud to be the sole Irish Distributors for their pre-finished pre-hung unit range. Puertas Norma is currently expanding their range and have recently moved to a larger premises in Spain. Their increased efficiency and capacity capabilities have resulted in shorter lead times on both doors and pre-finished units, which Quick Fit is happy to pass on to you.
